The Confest market is a central forum for Confestees to buy food, drink, clothes and hippy warez.

The large round area also serves as space for workshops to run and for people to just be and meet.

Night time turns the market area into a sppectacle of fire, drumming and dance.

It's a lake of humanity that's always flowing in and out, and below is a taste of that experience.

The Djembe beating heart of Confest

Located in the middle of Confest is the Market, a big area where awesome hippy stalls from everywhere come to sell their warez and food.

The Large Pizza shop, Bedouin and Geco Cafes are always a popular retreat for Confestees to lounge, share a conversation and suck down them chai teas! This huge forum is a great for meeting incredible characters and even some workshops.

The Market area is always in motion, at all hours. The campfires at the cafes even allow some eager beavers to sleep at the market, allowing for a non-stop chai marathon! Kinda like St Kilda without the pretention.

Puddles and Brollies

The Market is not without rain, nor is it without double negatives. Once there was rain, suddenly turning the market into a puddle playground. There was much childish stomping and splashing.. oh yeah and some stage kids joined in on us splashing as well :)

The Mud Tribe striketh!

The Tribe of Mud People did attempt a coup at the market once, but were quickly distracted once they had caught a willing snackrifice. Oh Brave soul, you may have saved us all! at least from an uneventful 15 minutes!
