A popular spot for many Melbourne firetwirling crews is Luna Park, St Kilda.

This over-trendy part o' town is a high exposure spot frequented by many buskers, clubbers and other extroverts.

It is the fire twirling funses at this locale that this gallery shares with you.

And lo, there was much rejoicing. I said REJOICE! :)

Some come for the giant face, some for a park to chill out on, but all stay for the fire show. Maybe because someone has superglued the benches. I don't know.
They smile, so perhaps their pants aren't at one with the land.

Whether you treat firetwirling as a mystical art or just a whole barrel of concentrated fun-juice (yummy!), Luna Park is undoubtedly one of the most twirled locations in Melbourne.

Firetwirling in the mouth provides for some awesome lighting effects. The illumination on the facial contours subtly change with the movement of the fire wic ks, as does the wide lighting on the stone ground.

Drea, me & Stevil try out a variety of firetwirling moves and combos in this series of images. Each image has it's own unique fire trail 'signature'. You can guess what is being performed from these trails! Kinda like constellations, only it's a bigger waste of time methinks! heh heh.

I'm puzzled over just why there is a giant red nose is attached to the face. And afraid. *trembles*
